Brianna Rice
MSW
Brianna Rice holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work with over 18 years of experience in the mental health environment. Most recently, she worked as a communication specialist and behavior interventionist for children with varying diagnoses such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, learning disabilities, ADHD, anxiety, depression, attachment disorders, maltreatment disorders and trauma exposure and/or post-traumatic stress disorder. Brianna incorporates macro, micro, and mezzo factors as well as equitably considering social and economic injustices and their impact on one’s social emotional functioning.
Brianna has had extensive training in regulation tools, emotional identification and recognition, and communication. As a social worker, she firmly believes in the value of emotional-focused therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy as the most effective treatment modalities in treating behavioral health symptoms.
In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, traveling, hiking and gardening with her beautiful 9-year-old son and puppy named Hank.
Marcus holds a Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from City University of Seattle and a Bachelor of Arts in multidisciplinary studies and humanities from Western Washington University. Both stops on his educational journey helped him develop a focus on culturally competent care that focuses on relational skills, patients feeling accepted and heard in therapy, and supporting the needs of those who struggle to advocate for themselves.
His experience includes work with adults and children with developmental diversities, LGBTQIA+ patients, and family systems. Marcus is trained in cognitive behavioral therapy, sexuality expression and sexual wellness, a number of models of play therapy, and care for those with traumatic pasts. Marcus mainly focuses his treatment on meeting the client where they are at and supporting people where their unique needs are.
In his spare time he can be found playing Magic: The Gathering, hiking, running, making music, and always looking for the best burrito out there.
